Colwyn Bay: Not available WARRINGTON Town crashed out of the Unibond League Cup with a disappointing 0-2 home defeat to Colwyn Bay. Town had dominated the opening exchanges and should have been at least two goals to the good but for poor finishing. On 30 minutes there was a partial floodlight failure and play had to be suspended for 15 minutes. Town seemed to lose their momentum as Bay gradually came back into the game, although the first half remained goaless. In the second half as the rain came down Town just weren’t at the races and two bits of sloppy defending resulted in two goals for the visitors. Warrington were once again missing several key players through injury and work commitments. They will have the chance to bounce back in the FA Trophy with a visit to Chorley this Saturday, kick off 3pm. | ||||||
