Gresley Rovers: Not available

WARRINGTON Town made it back to back league wins as they beat Gresley Rovers with a fine display to secure a one – nil victory at Cantilever Park.
The Wire had recent import Diego Bassanini to thank for keeping a clean sheet as he pulled off two outstanding reaction saves to ensure The Yellows took all three points.
It was the home side who started brightly, with Gavin Lynch going close with a firm header and Carl Rendell forcing a good save from visiting keeper David Clarke.
Soon after Town did take the lead when Thomas Lamb had his first shot saved by Clarke, but managed to follow up for an easy finish.

In the second half, both teams had good chances to register on the score sheet and it was Warrington who felt most aggrieved when it looked as if Gresley defender Dan Douglas used his arm to steer the ball away in the box, only for the referee to wave play on.
The visitors were then denied a clear scoring opportunity as Brian Holmes superbly blocked Dave Blenkinsopp’s shot.
Next it was the big Argentine’s turn to be the hero as Bassanini made two outstanding saves to stop Gresley pulling level.
The full time whistle sparked joyous celebrations from the manager and particularly from board member Gary Skentelbery, who joined Paul Moore on the pitch for a lap of honour to celebrate the manager’s first home win.
